  1. I’ll be the first to say something about Betty or Aunt Betty as she was known to me as! Well she wasn’t just my Aunt she was also my second mother! There are not enough words to describe how grateful I am for her, or enough words to truly describe her! She was the most loving, giving, caring, smart, fun, funny, intellectual and selfless person I have ever met! She was my mom’s best friend and although I love all my mom’s sisters, I was always closest to her just like my Mom was! Having been by my side from the moment I was born and all the time until now! She served as another mother figure in my life! When my Mom passed she became my legal guardian and truly earned the title of Mom! It was always hard to call her that even though she definitely filled that role! She helped raise me into the man I am today, right along side my incredible Uncle Brent! They both emplify greatness and are some of the most incredible people I know! So blessed, grateful and thankful for them both! I was always very close to Betty and she also was like a Best Friend to me as well! She always had the best advice, guidance and mentorship! Teaching me so much in the 7 years I lived with them after my mom passed! They both helped turn my life around! As I sit here writing this I am still in shock that she is gone! But I know that she lives on through all of us! She left an impact and a legacy behind her! She touched so many people on so many levels! From friends and family, to kids and the community! She is truly something else and it is so hard knowing that I can’t pick up the phone and call her, or come and see her! But I know that she is always with me, watching over me like my mom and so many other family and friends are! ❤️

  2. I am so sad that Betty is no longer with us. She by far was one of the best people I have ever met in my life. Her positive outlook and energy helped me several times during my teaching career. Her generosity and hospitality were amazing. I was truly lucky to have known her and work alongside her for sveral years. You just don’t meet enough people like Betty these days. She was a very special person.
